Milena Michalopoulos M.S. CCC-SLP

Milena Michalopoulos is a NJ state licensed, ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over 8 years of experience helping people of all ages with communication challenges. She obtained her bachelor and master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Seton Hall University, New Jersey. She started her career working in schools and acute rehab hospitals before opening her own private practice. 

As the owner of her private practice, she takes pride in providing personalized and effective speech, language, and swallowing therapy for both children and adults. She takes a family-centered approach, focusing on the individual needs of each client and empowering them to reach their fullest potential. Through personalized therapy plans, exercises, strategies, and assistive technology recommendations, she helps people overcome communication barriers and reconnect with the world around them. 

Milena is committed to continue with ongoing educational development and proficiency in evidenced based therapy techniques and protocols. She has an extensive background in child development skills, oral motor and feeding, and apraxia. She currently has certifications in Vital Stim, Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation, Lee Silverman Voice Therapy, Myofascial Release, and McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program. This fall, she will begin on a new journey in IAOM to obtain Orofacial Myology Certification.
